Vanity Ink - More Senseless Random Behaviour

\r\nVanity Ink’s second full-length album is out now and it will be a difficult work for anybody to be a critic against this band. Because they can surely cheer up someone who listens to their work, but until what point the lack of talent and new ideas can be fought with their enormous lust for rock n’ roll and great sense of humour? I believe that everything has it’s limit... \r\n

\r\n

\r\nApart from the great hit "Smell The Party" which, if played in a rock club, could bring down the house and the touching ballad "Breathe" VI’s work contains riffs and choruses that have been played and sang over and over again. Another thing worth mentioning is the lack of inspiration in guitar solos which surely doesn’t help VI’s music to go one step further. And I am very serious when I say this, their music is good but it’s nothing new and could just as well fit in an american college or high school movie soundtrack. Apart from all these, can anyone find something really notable in this album? The answer is yes and I am talking about Annabella’s nasty voice. This woman has rock n’ roll written all over her and running through her veins! \r\n

\r\n

\r\nOn the whole, anyone can have fun listening to Vanity Ink, but their music is nothing new. However, I would recommend them to someone who has never listened to rock n’ roll in his/her life as Vanity Ink can be a good band to start with. I am confident, though, that this band will become great in new, young aged audiences. \r\n
