Witticism - Shadows Of Thy Creation

\r\nAfter the Oden’s Rain 2006 and the Fragment Of Our Dignity EP that came out the same year, the German Witticism return with their new album which has the title Shadows Of Thy Creation. The cover of disk refers in something dark and extreme and  the things are just like that. Witticism offer us generously unique Death Metal that combines some elements from the American sound and from the melodic European. \r\nthat the band has passion for their material because everything seems to be professional enough despite tha album is self-financed. When you listen to the music, you are convinced that the album very-well taken care not only in the aesthetic part, but also musically. The Shadows Of Thy Creation  contains 13 pieces and lasts 50 substantial minutes. In them we see a band who can bring out sentiments in the listener but also to bang your head cruelly. What the band knows to do best is to create a beautiful atmosphere and to combine it with extreme outbursts.  Each piece hides his own beauty but the base is the same: Extreme Metal with big doses from Death Metal and some Black Metal elements. Witticism do not end up boring and tedious because the a lot of melodies that have in their music, that many times come from the keys. What personally  moved my interest, is that the band keeps a dry character in all the duration but at the same time does not hide that can become also sentimental. I couldn’t compare the music that we have here with another band. These guys put all their taste and they created one appreciable and at the same time hopeful album, which opens their horizons for something better. Let’s say that the production is appreciable but my opinion is that in production can always exist something better. Support them! \r\n
