\r\nTommy Lee: Hellooo
\r\nMetalzone: Hi Tommy this is Metalzone calling and Helena how are you?
\r\nTommy: Hi Helena I’m fine, how are you?\r\n

\r\nMetalzone: I’m glad I can finally hear you..
\r\nTommy: Yeah!
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: I know my time is really sort so let’s get right into the chase. Tell me about the Saints Of Los Angeles. Inspiration and the feedback you’ve been getting so far.
\r\nTommy: It’s been awesome. Everyone from what I hear enjoys the record. It sounds a bit retro, a bit modern, it sounds like 2008 so all good over here…

\r\nMetalzone: All good over here too
\r\nTommy: Yeah, all nice!
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: Are you trying to send a message out through the lyrics?
\r\nTommy: You have to ask Nikki about that.
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: Are there any touring plans concerning Europe?
\r\nTommy: Yeah, I think we’re coming over there, I think December, to do some press and set up a tour over there so, we’re definitely coming. I’m not really sure of the dates but we’re definitely coming over there.

\r\nMetalzone: How different is it being in the music scene today than how it was back in the 80s?
\r\nTommy: God, kind of a crazy question. Everything is very different now. With the internet, you got people stealing music and … I don’t know it’s very different. And certain things don’t change you know. Fans don’t change. I don’t know that’s a pretty loaded question and way too hard to answer.

\r\nMetalzone: Do you feel things are different for Motley Crue today? Do you think your fan base is getting larger by younger people who don’t know your back catalogue?
\r\nTommy: Definitely. I look out every night and I see 7, 10 year old kids, 15 year old kids which is really cool. To guys like us who’ve been doing this for so long, it’s so cool to see new kids coming to check it out. Fucking awesome!

\r\nMetalzone: Do you follow today’s music? What sort?
\r\nTommy: God, all kinds of stuff. Some of it’s good, some of it’s terrible, it just is what it is. Music is the ever-changing chameleon which is good. It always should be changing, always should be doing different things. Whether you like it or not that’s a whole other story.
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: Motley Crue is a huge name. Where do you see yourselves in the future? What’s the next step?
\r\nTommy: I don’t know!
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: Do you plan on staying around?
\r\nTommy: Oh Absolutely! But what’s next you never know. The four of us get into a room and figure out what’s next.
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: So you got a good relationship after all these years, and the chemistry is still there.
\r\nTommy: Yeap!
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: Are there any chances of a DVD release?
\r\nTommy: We recorded the entire Crue fest tour, with all the bands and that’s real close to being done. We’re going to start mixing it soon, it’ll be out soon.
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: Should we expect it in 2009?
\r\nTommy: That sounds about right.
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: Any ideas on an upcoming album?
\r\nTommy: Not that I know of but but that doesn’t mean no.
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: Personal plans?
\r\nTommy: I am working on a new Methods Of Mayhem record and hopefully we’ll get that thing done by May or June and go on Crue fest.
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: So there are no plans for attending summer festivals in Europe.
\r\nTommy: Summer is going to be taken up here in America… we got to figure Europe out!
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: And I don’t even dare to think about asking if you’re going to come to Greece.
\r\nTommy: Oh my god! I keep telling my manager can we fucking please go to Greece?
\r\n
