\r\nGiven the chance by the release of their latest live album Live Damnation we had the chance to interview Nige Rockett founding member of Uk thrashers Onslaught. Nige talks about their latest release, their touring plans but also their upcoming new album. Read below what he told us.

\r\nMetalzone.gr: Let’s begin by your latest release Live Damnation. Is it everything you hoped it would be? Can it capture the feeling of an Onslaught live appearance?
"I assure you that, by the time "Across The Gates Of Hell" entered, I had completely changed my mind! What a song and it was just the introduction of what was about to come. A cd fulfilled with powerful songs, a heavy and extremely solid sound and compositions inspired enough to attract you, especially nowadays that good releases tend to disappear. What more to expect! Nothing? Wrong answer again!! The correct answer is a great vocalist with a voice that stands out of the Euro-Power high pitched stuff (not that he lacks of it)!

\r\nMetalzone.gr: Let’s begin from your upcoming release. We expect Infini within June can you tell us a few things about that?
\r\nNeaera is a Melodic Death Metal band from Münster, Germany, currently signed to Metal Blade Records. Recently, they have completed their third album, Armamentarium (including a DVD), which was released on August 24, 2007 in Europe and on September 4, 2007 for the rest of the world. On May 25, 2009 Omnicide - Creation Unleashed was released, containing the track I Loathe. Metalzone had the chance to interview Stefan Keller the band’s guitarist and get to know a few more details about their latest steaming release. \r\n

Elena Mihailidou and Kostas Kyriakakis of Metalzone.gr have recently conducted an interview with Udo Dirkschneider of U.D.O. (former Accept) in Athens. Udo comments on the new U.D.O. album tentatively due by the end of August through AFM records and the EP which will surface on June 26th.
