DECEMBERANCE - Inside

One of the oldest greek doom/ death bands recently released their debut cd, “INSIDE”, via I for an I Records. Their first demo was out on September 1997 already and ever since they have supported acts such as Marduk (2001), Candlemass (2002), Kaamos (2003), Saturnus and Misanthrope (2008). I think that now it’s time for the band to set the basis for a better future.
\r\nHeavy, dark guitars, low tempo rhythm mostly, growls and pessimistic tones are the main elements of their music id, plus, what really stands out in the compositions is that their music is very atmospheric. DECEMBERANCE gather various influences, as there are parts, which differ from the classical meaning of the term ”doom/death”, like, for instance, the Opeth-like piano spots as well as the melancholic melodies on cello. Both, they create a much more darker feeling.
