FULL HOUSE BREW CREW - Bet It All

Full House Brew Crew - Bet It All

The first official album by Greek newcomers Full House Brew Crew, the self-financed “Bet It All”, cracks like an empty bottle of beer on the heads of unsuspected folks (like me!) who ignored by now that they even existed. Coming in more or less just one year of existence, Full House Brew Crew have managed to record a debut album that lots of newcomers (and not only) out there would look up to, while it should start to make some labels turn their radars on them.
\r\nTaking account of their name, it’s not hard for someone to imagine that Full House Brew Crew follow the trails of dirty heavy rock with some southern style, bringing in mind bands like Down, Corrosion Of Conformity but mainly Black Label Society. I say mainly because, apart from the vocals that follow the James Hetfield way, the music reminds of some of the best moments of Zakk Wylde’s brew crew, without however turning into a copy/paste situation. The songs are well written and personally I couldn’t find any fillers. Moreover, even though most of them follow the same style the album is by no means boring, instead it flows perfectly, while the production is at the same time heavy but also clear.
\r\nGenerally “Bet It All” depicts a tight band that knows what they’re doing and despite not being original shows devotion and honesty towards their music and their influences, preparing us for even better things. So come on, open a couple of beers (or more!) and welcome the coming of this new crew that takes its turn to prove that the Greek heavy rock/stoner scene is in continuing bloom and should sometime be a thing to look for by fans and labels outside Greece.
