Horn Of The Rhino - Weight Of coronation

\r\n

\r\nWell, well\r\nwhat have we got here? Horn Of the Rhino (Previously known as Rhino, having\r\nreleased two really cool albums) are back with a dynamite! The Spaniards kick\r\nyou in the stomach right from their very first track. Ultra swampy and sludgy\r\nsound that, in combination with the doom riffs and the crunchy guitars create a\r\nmighty wall of sound. What really attracted me to this record though, was the\r\ncombination of sludge and 70’s elements along with clear a-la Candlemass and\r\nSolitude Aeturnus vocals. Once you get a doom splash in the face, you get\r\nsurprised by the mesmerizing melodies and the Alice in Chains vibe of a 70’s influenced\r\nmetal chorus, all covered up under the veil of the mighty spirit of thrash\r\nmetal. The songs are really long and really reminded me of a giant sloth trying\r\nto get on top of a mountain. Oh Goat, this band really needs to be checked out!\r\nThe album was recorded in March 2010 in Bilbao and Rafa Garres did the artwork\r\nthat will be mentioned for years (this record cover certainly gets in my\r\nfavorite top 20 covers ever!). So, we have great music, cool vocals, great\r\nartwork, majestic melodies and brutal riffs. Are you still here?\r\n
