\r\nWhen a band‘s musical background is exceptional, its only option is to prevail! Their influences are in a way my weakest point: QUEENSRYCHE, CRIMSON GLORY, CONCEPTION, EVERGREY, MAGNITUDE 9, concerning the progressive mood, while they seem to pay tribute to classical metal bands such as DIO, BLACK SABBATH, JUDAS PRIEST and IRON MAIDEN.
\r\nAfter many years of efforts and tribulation RAGENHEART finally made it. Their debut album is one of the best latest releases in modern Power/Prog Power Metal. Songs like “In The Name of God”, “The Amulet” and “Child Of Rage” are enough to place the band in the pedestal of the scene. Apart from the composing-musical field, their lyrics are much stimulating, having that special meaning, while the song “Here I Am” is probably one of the best ballads ever written in the 00’s.
\r\nA powerful, colorful, emotional and expressive voice, wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that it’s one of the best voices of this musical genre –attending a live show will convince you- sharp, massive guitars, many riffs and melodies, and as much aggressiveness needed to make the songs more intense and a solid and bombastic rhythm section, with challenging fills and groove, being the basis of nine great compositions, which are shining like diamonds through the dust that other new album releases leave behind after the brainstorming that we get from their promoters, ending up being used as coffee coasters.
