Rotten Sound - Cursed

Rotten Sound - Cursed

\r\nGive me a couple of rounds and let’s go! The first two hits mark the entry of the swede’s Rotten Sound new machine gun in music form. Grindcore made to smash your face and caress your face with a rusty metal plate! Their unique guitar sound is still here so let’s check out the rest.

\r\n Having seen the band twice on stage I can verify they keep this live feeling alive and well even in their studio releases. This fury, the energy that gets unleashed is channeled in songs that have an average time length of one and a half minute-which is as much as needed-can power an entire lighthouse! Surgical executions, full of blastbeats but also with tons of groove to ease the pain and ignite some fire in the mosh-pit. What I really loved in "Cursed" is that despite the fact the tracks are full of blasting force the album does not get tiring as there are plenty of turn overs and cuts that enrich the result. Not anything technical though, it’s grindcore! In less than half an hour Rotten Sound manage to demolish the building and rebuild it from scratch.

\r\n A huge advantage they possesse is the strong, personal sound(swedish all the way), full of distinctive characteristics and the right attitude. Music to have fun to(like we said:good, friendly, violent fun!) and to channel your energy. Their slower parts(Terrified) can also induce some good ol’ headbanging too. Grind lovers will cherish this one but I’d also recomment it to those of you interested in how violence through music may sound. Damn, that sound is great...\r\n
