Superbia - Overcoming the Pain

\r\n-Superbia- is a band that hails from Italy and specific from Catania, Sicily. The band was formed in 2002 and started playing Death Metal with progressive elements. They released their first Demo in 2004 and then the second one came in 2007. After many years the band managed to sign with the label, -My Kingdom Music- and in 2010 the first full length was ready. \r\n

\r\nThe debut album has the title -Overcoming the Pain- and is pretty good album that combines Melodic and Progressive Death Metal with Deathcore elements and Modern Metal feeling. The guitars are great with many nice riffs and lots of melodic lines, heavy bass with interesting basslines, nice drumming and the voice of Gemini in weird mixed feeling of Thrash, Death and Metalcore. The production is great and  the album was produced and recorded by Superbia at personal studio in Italy during 2009. The drums were recorded at Free Time DS (Italy) and the final mix was done by Max Paratore and Antonio Amodeo while the master was done by Max Paratore. The album has also some female vocals done by Antonella Di Maria. \r\n

\r\n-Superbia- are making a start with a wonderfull album that combines many different styles. From Melodic Metal, Death Metal, Progressive Metal to Modern Metal, Deathcore and even some Thrash Metal feeling. There are a lot of good tracks and many nice ideas. A nice debut from Italy. \r\n
