Tales of Dark - Perdition Calls

Tales Of Dark hails from Serbia and this is their second release, entitled “Perdition Calls” and believe me they do teach to many bands out there how to play Doom / Goth metal influenced by the masters of the genre , but also adding some of their own personality in the outcome!
\r\nThe most of the album sounds monolithic, with some “dreamy” parts mostly due too Jovana’s female vocals and some acoustic parts in the compositions.
\r\nThe whole “Beauty And The Beast” type of singing sounds really great and fits the bands music. My personal opinion is that Arpad must be one of the few singers that his voice sounds so close to Aaron’s (My Dying Bride) and Juhani Palomäki’s (Colosseum) but I don’t know if this happens on purpose, but to be honest I really don’t care, this isn’t important at all.
\r\nIn Conlcusion “Perdition Calls” features many good compositions, many good vocals (female and male) and also some great atmosphere plus a few speed up tempo changes… the decision is yours…
