Thy Disease - Anshur-Za

\r\nReleasing five studio albums in eleven years is not a small thing. Throughout these years the band’s profile has changed a lot as the addition of Industrial and electro elements has changed her initially pure black/death music orientation. Others disapproved that and others supported this movement, especially those who were introduced to the band later on, and didn’t follow them from the beginning. Generally, though, they never had such a big promotion from the media so we can’t talk about a big fanbase, anyway..
\r\nSo, this is the fifth Thy Disease album. It’s a crossover Modern death/black based on very heavy guitars parts, and “addictive”, staccato riffing combined with nice electro atmosphere and strong industrial passages as background. It’s a combination that creates a great mood during the listening of the album. It’s not anything innovative, alright, yet I don’t think that one should expect anything more that good compositions coming from the bands of this music genre.
\r\nThe cd contains two interesting cover songs; the one is the song “Sinner In Me” (Depeche Mode) and the other is the song “Frozen” (Madonna). To be honest, regarding the second one, I have listened to much better versions.\r\n
