Death Angel @ 7Sins

\r\nIt was another bloody cold Sunday. The majority was in their homes preparing to go to sleep for the damned Monday work. But not us. Today is a Thrash party day for us, as one of the biggest names in Thrash Metal is going to give a show to Athens. Yes! Death Angel is finally here after all these years and today is a special day for many Greek Thrashers. The supporting bands are: Roots of Death (Thrash/Death from Switzerland), Adimiron (Thrash/Death from Italy) and the well known Greek Thrash band Suicidal Angels.Time was about 19:30 when people started to gather in the 7 Sins club. The most of the people were Thrashers and you could see a big smile in their faces as the night will be Thrashy as hell.

\r\nAfter a few minutes Roots of Evil hit the stage and started their set list. Most of the people didn’t know this band and now they were all surprised as Roots of Evil started tearing up the stage with their songs. Their music can be described as a mix of Thrash/Death and Hardcore. Great performance and the audience seemed that enjoyed this band live. The sound was not perfect but as the time went by it became better. -Roots of Evil- finished their set list and they sure managed to make new fans after this live.\r\n

\r\nMore people started to enter the club as the second band was ready to hit the stage. Without delay at all, Adimiron hit the stage and started playing their set list. Their music was a mix of Thrash/Death with a lot of atmosphere, progressive elements and modern feeling. People seemed satisfied but as this band was also unknown for the most of us, everyone preferred to drink their beer and enjoy their show without starting any mosh pit. The sound was not perfect yet but the band managed to complete the set list without having any problems at all. Adimiron left the stage so the next band can continue the show with people cheering and reaching the front as the next band is the local Thrash band , Suicidal Angels and everyone is ready to honor the mosh pit!\r\n

\r\nWhen Suicidal Angels hit the stage, the 7 Sins club was almost full and the atmosphere was perfect. The band started their set list and now the whole place was ready to explode. Mosh pits, head bangers, stage divers and finally you can sense the Thrash party spirit waking up.\r\n

\r\nSuicidal Angels played many songs and gave their best performance as they always do. The fact that this is their hometown is always giving them extra power and you can feel it in their concerts. The sound was not perfect but no one seemed to care about it. The fans really enjoyed this show and watched -Suicidal Angels- playing songs like: …Lies, Bleeding Holocaust, Final Dawn and Dead Again.

\r\nTheir show ended with the known  Apokathilosis song with Nick Melissourgos stage diving and finishing another great -Suicidal Angels- live.
\r\nAfter a few minutes the whole club was full and you could feel the tension in the air. Death Angel appeared and everybody went crazy! The Bay Area thrashers  started their set list with the -I Chose the Sky - track and the fans responded with stagedivings, mosh pits, headbanging and the whole place was ready to blow! \r\n

\r\nDeath Angel seemed surprised and satisfied and started their show by playing old songs but also new tracks from their latest release. Epic songs like Mistress of Pain, Claws in so Deep, Kill as One, Bored, Veil of Deception, Thrashers and many more songs that turned that Sunday to an unforgettable Thrash party!!  The sound was better than the other bands but still was not the best sound I’ve ever heard. The fans didn’t care at all and the whole place was on fire!

\r\nThe band played many songs and managed to complete their set list without having any problems. Death Angel’s front man, Mark Osequeda was surprised by the reactions of the audience and seemed very happy. The whole club was singing and screaming and you could see Thrashers from all ages stage diving and moshing. -Death Angels- finished their show and this great night with people cheering, screaming their name! \r\n

\r\nIt was a great Thrash night and at the end everyone was happy.  The fans loved it, the bands gave their best and the show ended without problems, accidents or anything bad at all. Although it was Sunday night and many people had to go to work the next day, the 7 Sins Club was full till the last minute of the show.  An unforgettable night for all the thrashers.\r\n
