Trail Of Tears @ Gagarin 205

In a (sadly) non-crowded setting, commenced the dark Norse march on the Gagarin stage.

\r\nA few words about the guests.
\r\n
\r\nPERSONA NON GRATA
\r\n
\r\nA very promissing Greek band, though I’ve never heard of them. Judging by their great performance I’m convinced that these guys will go far. Strong doses of progressive with atmospheric melodies and outstanding heavy outbreaks are their features. They showed great bonding betwing their playing
\r\nas well as skill and talent. Also the singer’s voice was fantastic. It’s worth looking them up!

\r\n\r\nMAGENTA
\r\n
\r\nSecond appearance was the gothic rock band, Magenta. I must admit they didn’t touch me all that much. Their songs were uninteresting and the stage appearance "too much for too little". Seriously, medieval monk robes??? (Messiah did that a long time ago)
\r\n

\r\n\r\n

\r\nGOTHMINISTER
\r\n
\r\nRough gothic metal with industrial elements was the theme of Gothminister who appeared third. They attacked the stage hot and packing and rocked hard their goth-fans. The highlight of their appearance was power and energy, from the music composition (They sounded great) all the way to the stage looks.

\r\nTRAIL OF TEARS
\r\n
\r\nTrail of tears exist about 12 years now but they appeared first time in Greece. Unfortunately in front of really small crowd. They came on stage "In your face" style and flooded our ears with storming heavy tunes. Ronny Thorsen gave it all with his grunt vocals (Here it’s worth noting that he sounded just like the cds) and Cathrine Paulsen literaly made us fall in love with her enchanting glass-shattering voice. \r\n

\r\n \r\n

\r\n

\r\nDispite a few technical problems the bass player had (or was it the guitarist?) the live went on pretty well. They played for about an hour and a few minutes -Well at around 12 the place started to empty, not because everyone’s coatch was about to turn into a pumpkin but because the subway was about to close for the night. Anyway, the next they appear live in our country, I wish to them a bigger crowd worthy of their descent goth-black-death-whatever metal stature in the scene.
