Agoraphobic Nosebleed - Agorapocalypse

\r\nStraight\r\nforward. Only this comes in mind while I listen to the new ANB\r\nrelease. The most in-your-face, barbaric, “regular”, mature album\r\nof these Americans by far. Great guitars that shred with their\r\ndistinctive heaviness as only Scott Hull knows, wonderful triple\r\nvocal lines (with Kate of Salome tearing her throat apart and\r\ncrushing the other two wacos, just being the best!) and for the first\r\ntime 13 regular songs instead of 100 that we were used to. Half an\r\nhour of really good music that is touching not only for the fans of\r\nultra heavy and technical grind , but also for the good old\r\nthrashers that get dressed up in vests full of extravagant patches.\r\nThe drum machine is honored once again (these crazy guys dare to\r\nstart a song with an old school drum solo!) and there is only one\r\nphrase in mind: EXTREME THRASH. It is great when you see this kind of\r\nbands- who you thought would have played everything by now- to show\r\nthat kind of progress and come out with\r\nsuch quality and renewal (ok, don’t expect something like Mozart,\r\nJay Randall is a lunatic). All these dressed up with the best cover\r\nart of their career and crazy lyrics (i.e Ex-Cop). ).\r\nGrind,thrash,metal,punk,\r\npsychosis, and an overdose of energy in a small pack. What else to\r\nask for then? These freaks stand just to the point where mental\r\nclinics meet the flame of rebellion. I can’t do else but to end\r\nthis review with a quote from ANB’s Honky Reduction album: fed\r\nshit\r\nfor\r\ngrowth,you\r\nare\r\nwhat\r\nyou\r\neat.\r\nAGORAPOCALYPSE\r\nNOW!\r\n
