Altona - Altona

Altona - Altona

\r\nFor sure, when it is heard that a group comes from Turkey, a country that has not got used us in "strong" releases, what we feel at first us surprise and interest in order to hear the specific album. Altona since the Demo, Alarm Of The End, that had released in 1999, they didn’t bother us with other release. The homonym album Altona releases from Atlantis Müzik and constitutes the first full-length album, which contains 7 songs that with difficulty reach 31 minutes. This is not by no means bad, but on the contrary gives in the album the chance that does not tend to become tedious. Influenced by Dream Theater, but also from other Progressive Metal/Rock [mpantes], Altona deal with the specific style and manage this well enough. What gives them an additional interesting characteristic, is some "oriental" melodies that exist in certain songs and give them a unique sound, while also there has been done very good job in the production. Very hopeful debut album, suitable for those who are fans of the specific genre. \r\n
