Custard - Forces Remain

The German outfit Custard is already a band with more of ten years in action and every release of them, meets the right feedback from their loyal friends. So they do move on with their difficult task. Yes difficult, because it’s so difficult these days to write and perform traditional power heavy metal, since if you try to do this, you ll be immediately criticized as a band that stick to the past, the past that many people consider as long dead…
\r\nSo in the year 2008 (that the album has been released) and these Germans made me grab a beer at 13.00 with their well played, well composed traditional heavy / power metal. Tons of double kicks and triplets on drums, great riffing and a voice that reminds me something of Ralf Scheepers, Ripper Owens (Winter’s Bane era) and Thomas Rettke (Heaven’s Gate).
