\r\nIf someone told me that this is the new SLAYER cd I would definitely buy it! I mean there’s so much influence from bands such as them as well as TESTAMENT, DESTRUCTION, KREATOR during the entire album! \r\nThis is the debut album from DEMONICA, a newly formed band, which members are: Klaus Hyr on vocals, Craig Locicero (Forbidden) and Hank Shermann (Mercyful Fate) on guitars, Marc Grabowski (Corruption) on bass and Mark Hernandez (Forbidden) on drums. If the term “old school Thrash” seems a bit “retro” to some of you, well this album is a good chance to realize that it has nothing to do with the music genre, weather it is “oldfashioned” or not, but only with the albums coming from it. \r\nApart from the insane riffing, the furious vocals and the grim hammering on the rhythm section, the playing is clean, raw and merciless. \r\nThe last track of “Demonstrous“ is a great instrumental composition entitled “Astronomica” .At first I thought that it’s a cover song, but I was wrong (damn I’d really love to hear that!). Well, this track, actually, is a good answer to all these people who claim that Thrash Metal songs are just noise and lack feeling.\r\n
