Dogma - Sound Therapy

Dogma - Sound Therapy

\r\nI knew so far that the term “Sound Therapy” has a totally different meaning. It ‘s referring to a method of relaxation via beautiful sounds which create peace and come from the nature or they are ambient samples and sounds, under the influence of which one can just stare into the horizon forever. That description has nothing to do with this album. Peace is an unknown word here.
\r\nDogma are playing death/thrash and the result is the opposite of what the title implies. After the second listening I have to admit that symptoms of extra tension occurred and in fact for quite some hour. Might it be due to the furious blasting, the heavy and at the same time trashy guitars, the outburst of Alberto on vocals, it doesn’t take long to get in the mood. The production could have been better, as on some spots it was making the listening of the album quite difficult because of the not-so-clear result of it. The rating could have been better, but the general picture has its “scars” exactly due to the factor mentioned above. Other than that the album in general is good, at least for the fans of the genre. \r\n
