\r\n-Escutcheon- are back with their second full length album, called - Battle Order-.The Death Metal band from the Netherlands returned with another album of Dutch Death Metal with a dark melodic mood and a lot of heavy riffs. \r\n

\r\nThe band plays with a lot of energy and you can be fascinated by their power and the pounding drumming that hits you from the very first track.The album is full of riffs and leads, with many influences from the Melodic Death scene but also there are some Black Metal feelings in some of them.The drums are in full blast-beat mode and they are totally getting you in a wild headbanging mood that can really hurt your neck!!The bass is behind everything and is adding some extra dark elements to their sound and the vocals are furious and full Death Metal.The production cannot be described as 100% perfect but it can still gives you the atmosphere of Escutcheon and their dark melodic Death Metal.The cover is great and it shows a futuristic view of a war robot ready for battle. \r\n

\r\n-Escutcheon- are not the Dutch Death Metal that you think.They are more like band such as:At the Gates , Dissection , Eucharist , Dark Tranquility, but they play in their own personal melodic way their barbaric Death Metal. The highlights of this album is sure the drumming and the vocals and the bad news comes from the production.-Escutcheon- are all good musicians and they worth our support. They seem ready for the battle but next time they must pick up better weapons and this is an extra reason for us , to support this band.\r\n
