Glacier - Spears of the Empire

For many years Glacier has been a well-kept secret for those looking for lost gems from the glorious past. The new beginning of the band with the help of the internet gives the opportunity to those who didn't have the chance, to get to know the group, its sound and the feeling of an entire era. Glacier didn't settle for a re-release of the legendary E.P. them but they offered us a new album in 2020 the excellent The Passing of Time. Two years later a new E.P. it's in our hands. The title is Spears of the Empire and is being released digitally by the band independently. The work consists of 2 tracks in the sound tradition of the band, these are Spears of the Empire and The Word and the Will which are an excellent example of traditional Heavy Metal. The key is that the material is not a cliché, tradition goes hand in hand with modernity for an amazing result like the 2020 album. All is well in the Glacier camp. We are expecting a new album as soon as possible !

Για πολλά χρόνια οι Glacier ήταν ένα καλά κρυμμένο μυστικό για όσους αναζητούν χαμένα διαμάντια από το ένδοξο παρελθόν. Το νέο ξεκίνημα  για το συγκρότημα με την βοήθεια του διαδικτύου δίνει την ευκαιρία σε όσους δεν είχαν την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουν το γκρουπ, τον ήχο του και κατά προέκταση με μια ολόκληρη εποχή. Οι Glacier δεν αρκέστηκαν  σε μία επανακυκλοφορία του θρυλικού E.P. τους αλλά μας προσέφεραν μια νέα δουλειά το 2020 το εξαιρετικό The Passing of Time. Δύο χρόνια μετά ένα νέο E.P. είναι στα χέρια μας. Ο τίτλος είναι Spears of the Empire και κυκλοφορεί σε ψηφιακή μορφή από την μπάντα ανεξάρτητα. Η δουλειά απαρτίζεται από 2 κομμάτια στην ηχητική παράδοση της μπάντας, πρόκειται για τα Spears of the Empire, The Word and the Will που αποτελούν εξαιρετικό δείγμα παραδοσιακού Heavy Μetal. Το κλειδί είναι οτι το υλικό δεν είναι κλισέ, η παράδοση πορεύεται χέρι χέρι με τον νεοτερισμό για ένα εκπληκτικό αποτέλεσμα όπως το 2020. Όλα πάνε καλά στο στρατόπεδο των Glacier. Περιμένουμε ένα νέο album όσο πιο άμεσα.
