Last Warning - Throughout time

Last Warning - Throughout time

\r\nThe band, for those who are not aware of it, comes from Italy. They showed up for the first time at the late 80’s -early 90’s, by recording their first demo (S/T) which received great reviews. The second demo followed up (Bloody Dream), while it didn’t take long for a record deal to come for their first full length album under the title ”From the Floor of the Well”. “Under A Spell” was to become their second and last work as for about eight years they fell into the darkness.
\r\nThe line-up changes, with Fabio Del Sal on vox and Ivan Moni Bidin on drums as new members. Dream Theater-like Progressive Metal. In fact on some spots and fills if I was told that it’s the new D.T. material, I would actually believe it. As far as the vocals go they step on the traces of the great Geoff Tate, yet with different colors, maybe due to the production which I consider as a minus for this album in general. What I didn’t like was the duet for the song “In The Flood” with the "must" female vocals, because I think that they voices didn’t really match together. Melodies, riffing, tempo changes, keyboards that remind something between Dream Theater and Deep Purple, without endless and complex compositions. A very good album on a high quality level. \r\n
