Marya Roxx - “21?!” The EP

\r\nWith the infamous Kevin”Caveman” Shirley (Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Led Zeppelin, Him etc) as the producer, the young singer Marya Roxx makes her dream come true as she mentions in her bio, by writing almost all of the songs by herself and recording her first album at Document Room in Malibu, from which we have an EP of four songs. Important names behind the line-up and popular as well: Paul Crook (MEAT LOAF, ex-ANTHRAX, SEBASTIAN BACH) on guitars, Scott Metaxas (ex-NUCLEAR ASSAULT) on bass, Derek Sherinian (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, ex-DREAM THEATER) on keyboards and Brian Tichy (ex-OZZY OSBOURNE, SLASH’S SNAKEPIT, GILBY CLARKE, PRIDE & GLORY) on drums. The songs are very few of course, and my experience so far has taught me not to jump into conclusions, however I ‘d say that based on this material it’s a pretty good effort, which is in a Rock/Metal style, with very fresh ideas and Marya ’s voice above all, totally fitting with the music style that she has chosen.
