\r\nMegadeth have chosen a simple title for their new album; since it’s their thirteen studio album, it is entitled as “TH1RT3EN”.
\r\nUsually, when it comes to an “important” new album, there are so many discussions and so much analysis about it, but I think that things are more simple regarding “TH1RT3EN”. “TH1RT3EN” has two great songs, Public Enemy No. 1 and Black Swan, which, actually, remind me all of the reasons why I love this band. It also has some good songs, such as Sudden Death, Deadly Nightshade and the title song…… and then the enthusiasm goes away. The rest of the album is interesting to listen to and just that as there are many fillers.
\r\nBoth Mustaine and Broderick are stunning in this marathon of riffing and solos, while Ellefson and Droven build together an imposing groovy background. All these elements that feature their music are here and the album in general is good. Nothing more than that, though.
