NEAERA - Omnicide - Creation Unleashed

Well, I don’t know if  the Swedish death metal scene a la At The Gates , Unanimated etc has become typical, repetitive or you just give this kind of characterizations to this scene, but for me will always remain something unique, that even nowadays several years after its foundation  remains something fresh and heavily demonized.
\r\nIt’s about the German outfit Neaera that strikes back with their 4th and probably most killer of all album “Omnicide - Creation Unleashed”, that during the 43 minutes of its duration, unfolds the classical elements of Melodic Swedish Metal, melodic – killer riffs, unbelievable power, blast beats, hate and grim vocals. Of course these guys have been influenced by the above stated bands, but I d like to state that their sound and structure sounds closer to At The Gates “With Fear I Kiss The Burning Sky” era, not so polished and more old school.
\r\nFor me personally that I do not follow the Swedish Death Metal scene anymore, when it happens to have such an album in my hands I sincerely enjoy that and “Omnicide - Creation Unleashed” was one of those albums that really reminded me of the glorious mid 90’s …
