PROCESSION - Destroyers of the Faith

Although 2010 is coming to its end, some fantastic new releases keep on coming “torturing” our doomed ears.
\r\nThis time is about the Chilean outfit Procession and their newest release, “The Destroyers of the Faith”. I dare to admit that their previous release the “Cult of Disease” E.P. keeps on spinning from times to times on my turntable since last year, having this epic doom feeling, following the master’s (Candlemass) recipe for epic doom metal making, but this album shows some differences, some epic doom metal, based on the classic doom bands, but with a more personal identity and some parts that reminds me of the legendary Sorcerer. So, “Destroyers of the Faith” is about a doom, slow, heavy and epic riffing album, with an extreme quantity of Lyricism and epic feeling that I haven’t heard since ages…this is about a TOTAL masterpiece of doom metal so…go get this one
