Vermingod - The Grand March to Devastation

\r\nTHE TIME OF VERMINGOD HAS COME\r\n

\r\n-Vermingod- is a band from Patra,Greece that was formed in 2003. The band has released so far only two Demo CDs playing a mix of Thrashcore and Death Metal. They are now ready with their first full length album. \r\n

\r\n

\r\nThe new album is called - The Grand March to Devastation- and it’s one of the best albums that I’ve heard this year so far. These guys are on full attack. They are mixing Thrash/Hardcore/Death and you can even spot great Grindcore themes and many experimental ideas. Great Thrashcore riffs, heavy bass, great Death Metal drumming and a great vocalist that sings something  between Deathcore and Grindcore with Brutal Death also mood. There are also nice melodic leads in the album but these guys have used them wisely without overdoing it. The production is very good and this was a job of the Fuzz Comission Group that made the recordings and mixes in Patra and George Bokos that handled the mastering of the album. The cover artwork and the whole layout is an amazing  job of an artist called ADMC07 (www.myspace.com/admczeroseven) that sures gives extra power to the band.\r\n

\r\n-Vermingod- are for sure one of the best bands i’ve heard this year. These guys knows how to make you wanna bang your head against several objects. They got everything. Extreme power, great speed, nice and few melodic parts, great Thrashcore riffs and a really good Deathcore voice. Great production and amazing artwork/layout from ADMC07 that also participates in the album doing guest vocals together with Andrew from the known band -Revolting Breed-. I must also mention that this album is self-released and this gives an extra bonus to the band as it’s very professional and shows that -Vermingod- are not here for fun. A great debut album!!
