Vision Divine - 9 Degrees West Of The Moon
Vision Divine - 9 Degrees West Of The Moon
\r\nThis album is a good reason for me to contemplate the past. I remember that a few years ago there were plenty of good power metal albums which confirmed the constant progress of this scene back then. For some reason beautiful memories revived coming from the not so distant past.
\r\nWithout the characteristic accent which most Italian frontmen have, Fabbio Leone, one of the best voices of Metal in our days in my opinion, gives a unique performance and paints with the warm and bright colors of his voice a superb piece of art, which above all has been created with emotion and passion. With a progressive aura, the power metal paths that Vison Divine follow along with the Dream Theater-like passages, the “classical” music base and the melodies and the lyricism which stick into your mind during listening to this album, I consider that this group belongs to the most high quality ones out there. Inspiration? You bet they have. There’s also a cover song for the legendary “Touch of Evil” which a few bands would dare to approach and even less would manage to play in a descent way. Nontheless, based on the result, I think that Vision Divine didn’t face any problem at all in doing it.
\r\nSolos that you can bare listening, unlike many other bands of this genre, great, crystal clear production from Timo Tolki’s hands and all you need is plenty of time to listen to it all the time. \r\n
