Wheelrunner - Bloodpaint

\r\nOne more very good effort from a band which comes from Greece. It’s their first album which is waving between Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. It maintains the “trashy” elements from the first one as well as the energy of the second one, while not losing a thing from the pure feeling of both scenes, without mixing or “bastardizing” with other music genres, without complex compositions, without imitating other bands.
\r\nThe minus in the whole thing has to do with the production, which brings to mind other ages, somewhere in the past, and definitely it’s pretty far from what one would like to hear in the year 2009. It ‘s groovy, with melodic riffs, catchy lyrics and choruses… on some spots it reminds s lot of Motley Crue and Saxon, yet that doesn’t imply that they don’t have their own personality.. It’s not something that we haven’t heard before, however it worth paying attention to. Especially the ones that like this kind of music should check it out. “Proof of Love” is their first video clip, which even though it lucks originality regarding the concept - sorry guys but we have seen this many times already- is one more sign of an absolutely fine work. \r\n
