BRISTOL’S SCREAMING
\r\nIn Southwest of the U.K. when the kids wanna scream they go BIG!! In our case, YOUNG HOLLYWOOD, with some EP and Demo releases so far, are back With their first and last official album - SHOTDOWN- and that’s because unfortunately the band split-up this year. The album that left behind them is a mix of Hard-Core with experimental Rock elements in the style of: At the drive in, Glassjaw, Refused but also Defftones in a much rawer version. Raging Screaming vocals with some few melodic breaks and hardcore and numetal attitude in the guitars. The Drums and Bass are well played but the not so rich production gave them a second role. But the truth is that -SHOTDOWN- is an easy-listening album with small songs but powerful enough to fill you with energy and make you go out and skate! And that’s enough for me. Too bad they split up.
