Eden's Curse - Trinity

EDEN´S CURSE - No Holy Man (2011) - feat. James LaBrie (Dream Theater)

Eden's Curse - Trinity

\r\nThose who are familiar with the band, should not expect a big surprise from their third studio album, “Trinity”.
\r\n Melodic Metal meets Hard Rock, with an intense Progressive Power tension; this “mixture” makes the whole album pretty interesting, as it’s anything but “flat” or simplified. However, this "variation" is not enough for EDEN’S CURSE to stand out among so many other bands that are also very good and interesting.
\r\nStrong melodies, catchy choruses, Dream Theater-like keys, thunderous solos ala Symphony X and very warm vocals are the main spots in the album that will definitely appeal to you.  There are two special guests as well; James LaBrie and Andi Deris are participating in two songs of the album. Both James and have done a markable job singing together a really wonderful song, yet I can’t really say the same thing about Andy as I think that the song “Black Widow” is a mediocre.
\r\nThe last song of the album is a cover song for “Rock ’N’ Roll Children” of Ronnie James Dio. Other than paying tribute to him, I find nothing appealing in this song; in fact I believe it’s somehow emotionless.\r\n
