OVERKILL - THE ATLANTIC YEARS 1986 - 1994 VINYL AND CD BOX SETS TO BE RELEASED IN OCTOBER; UNBOXING VIDEO

An integral part of the early-'80s thrash metal movement that spawned acts like Metallica and Anthrax, New Jersey's Overkill garnered a reputation for brutal, pounding speed and technique. Taking their moniker from the 1979 Motörhead album of the same name, an early demo; Power In Black, made waves in the underground tape-trading circuit and caught the attention of Megaforce Records, which issued the band's full-length studio debut, Feel the Fire, in 1985.

US Old School Death metallers Centenary are back with a new release. The newest album is a reflection of their old-school death metal influences.  Heavy HM-2 riffs with pummeling low-end bass and punishing drums. Sick guttural vocals ranging from highs to lows.

The album has blasts, solos, and grooving headbanging rhythms.

Annihilator frontman / founder Jeff Waters takes another trip down memory lane, this time reflecting on recording the band's 1994 salbum, King Of The Kill. It was the first of three consecutive Annihilator albums to feature Waters on guitar, lead vocals and bass.

MEGADETH MAKES SETLIST CHANGES FOR SECOND CONCERT OF 'THE METAL TOUR OF THE YEAR

MEGADETH played its second show with bassist James LoMenzo in nearly 12 years last night (Saturday, August 21) in Irving, Texas. As was the case the night before in Austin, "The Metal Tour Of The Year" concert at the The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory

SODOM PRESENT "BOMBENHAGEL" LYRIC VIDEO

SODOM celebrate the release of their new EP "Bombenhagel" with the lyric video for the title track. This is a new recording of the classic of the same name, which appeared in 1987 on "Persecution Mania".

EXODUS: 'PERSONA NON GRATA' ALBUM DETAILS REVEALED; 'THE BEATINGS WILL CONTINUE' SINGLE NOW AVAILABLE

San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal veterans EXODUS will release their new album, "Persona Non Grata", on November 19 via Nuclear Blast Records. The disc's first single, "The Beatings Will Continue (Until Morale Improves)", can be streamed below.

"Persona Non Grata" is the follow-up to 2014's "Blood In Blood Out", which was the San Francisco Bay Area thrashers' first release since the departure of the group's lead singer of nine years, Rob Dukes, and the return of Steve "Zetro" Souza, who previously fronted EXODUS from 1986 to 1993 and from 2002 to 2004.
