During a new interview with The Entertainment Outlet, Judas Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner revealed the status of the band's next studio album, which is the long awaited follow-up to 2018's Firepower record.
Faulkner: "We're getting there. The first obstacle was the pandemic, because we couldn't get together and do it as a group. And then, when the pandemic restrictions were lifted, we could go out on tour, so the next obstacle - if you wanna call it that - was the tour.
Former Judas Priest vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens has been working on new music, produced by Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed) and Nick Bellmore (Jasta, Dee Snider), that will feature his heaviest songs yet.
The collaboration has resulted in a new EP, Return To Death Row, due to be released in late October / early November under the Ripper moniker. Check out the cover artwork below.

Says Leather: "The very first number Vinnie Tex and I composed for the new record was ‘We Take Back Control’, which pointed the direction for the rest of the album.
