\r\nJapaneese Stoner/Doom band - Church of Misery - were formed back in 1995 and they have released so far many EPs, Splits, DVDs and three full length albums.They are back now with their fourth full length album , called - Houses of the Unholy- with some more Stoner Rock tunes and songs about Serial Killers. \r\n

\r\n

\r\nThe new album is in the same style.Stoner Rock with great rythm guitars and leads , awsome bass and nice drumming.The vocals are a little bit more brutal than Rock and reminds bands such as Entombed and Cathedral.The production is very good and the cover of the album shows Albert Fish (known serial killer) in court. \r\n

\r\n-Church of Misery - are into music business for many years now.Their sound reaches high levels and their composing ideas are perfect.They like to sing about serial killers and their lyrics are all about them.They definately come from the Black Sabbath school and they are one of the best samples of the Stoner Rock scenes of Japan.When USA has the band -Macabre-(Chicago’s Murder Metal) talking about serial killers , Japan has - Church of Misery- and they must be proud. A great release from a great band!!! \r\n
