East Trading Wang - Favela. Yayo. Caipirinha

\r\nEast Trading Wang is an Estonian band existing since 1997 and "Favela, Yayo, Caipirinha" is their second album, although released back in 2005.
\r\n   Those guys play a mixture of Punk, Nu-Metal and post Grunge with quite solid, vulgar, partly even technical crossover compositions, but also missing both a recognizable identity and outstanding high points. There are moments here with a slight Nirvana feeling, even though they sound to my ears far more better than Nirvana ever was, as well as the audacity, intensity, progressive nature, and accessibility of System Of A Down while the songs seem to unite a freedom of movement with simple however partly nevertheless unorthodox structures. Of course there are the heavy riffs but with a grungy edge, the energetic and melodic vocals, the aggressive drums and the variation necessary to make this album more abundant. However, the point is that despite some good heandbangable moments there was nothing more in this album to intrigue my attention and surely this is more punk than metal in the first place so it is quite difficult for any metal fan to find this effort interesting and worth buying either way.\r\n
