\r\n-General Surgery - is a band from Sweden that plays Death/Goregrind Metal since 1988.The band has released many demos and an EP before they split the band.After 12 years they reformed and started releasing Split Albums and in 2006 they released their first full length work.They are now back with a full length album that is going to satisfy their fans and all the Death/Goregrind lovers out there, with new singer and the return of Andreas Eriksson in the bass.\r\n

\r\nThe album is called - Corpus In Extremis - Analysing Necrocriticism - and it a great 15 track album with lots of riffs, brutal voices and pounding drums and bass. The guitars are delivering nice Death and Goregrind riffs and the bass is filling the sound with great basslines.The drummer is hitting the drums with great double bass techniques , blast beats and nice sound.The new vocalist , mr. Erik Sahlstrom , is great, his voice is brutal and stays in the Death Metal zone.The album is produced by the band and the production of the album is really good and its adding power to the band.The cover is fantastic and it shows some human medical samples.\r\n

\r\n-General Surgery- are back with a great album.The new singer suits great to the band and we can finally say that it is great that this band didnt split up back in 1991.
