\r\nThere are probably more than ten bands with the name - Leviathan- but this one is a new one that hails from Bonn, Germany and plays a mix of Progressive/Melodic/Death/Metal. The band started in 2007 and after some years they released their first EP that was voted as the - Demo of the Month- by the German Metal Hammer. -Leviathan- are here now with their debut album and ready for more. \r\n

\r\nThe album has the title - Beyond the Gates of Imagination Pt. I- and it’s a nice album that mixes Melodic Death Metal with progressive elements. Great guitar work, nice bass and keyboards, great drumming and the voice of Jonas Reisenauer in a great atmospheric Death Metal mood. The production is not the best I’ve heard but you can’t say that is bad either. \r\n

\r\n-Leviathan- are doing their start with a nice debut album. There are many nice songs that will satisfy all the fans of the Melodic Death Metal scene that loves also atmospheric and progressive elements. There are also classical and orchestral parts that makes the album even more interesting. - Beyond the Gates of Imagination Pt. I- is an album that has many nice songs with lots of great moments that would be even better if it had better production. I believe that this band can do much better than that and I hope that this is only the start for them. \r\n
