\r\nTHE TARDY BROTHERS ARE HERE\r\n

\r\nOk, everyone knows the Tardy Brothers from Obituary.These Death Metal veterans started back in 1984 with the band Executioner(later Xecutioner) that turned into Obituary.Now after almost 25 years and many Obituary releases , they are into a new project. Basically , the Tardy Brothers project is nothing else but the two brothers releasing some more groovy ideas with various interesting guests.\r\n

\r\n

\r\nThe album is called - Bloodline - and its absolute fantastic from the start to the end!! The riffs , the solos , the killer voice of mr. John Tardy , the powerful drumming of mr. Donald Tardy(he plays also the bass!!) , everything great! The album reminds Obituary in a more Groovy/Rock way and its full of mid -tempo themes and fantastic solos.The guest list for the guitars is big and it includes very known musicians like: Ralph Santolla(Obituary , Deicide) , Jerry Tidwell(first Executioner line-up) , John Li(Order of Ennead) and Scott Johnson.The production is perfect and the cover has a great artwork and it shows the Tardy Family truck covered in blood.\r\n

\r\nI really dont care if this project reminds me Obituary. Its this special voice of mr John Tardy that puts smiles on any Obituary fan , thats true , but besides that - Bloodline - is a great album.It has great groovy riffs ,perfect drums and many nice solos.I heart it couple of times without getting bored at all.I hope that they will release more albums with many more guests, but i hope that this project will not affect Obituary.\r\n
