Από την πόλη της Κοζάνης μας έρχονται οι Ostracist και επιβεβαιώνουν ότι υπάρχει ακόμα μεταλλικό αίμα στις φλέβες πολλών εκεί πάνω. Μεγαλώνοντας και περνώντας την εφηβία μου στη συγκεκριμένη πόλη, πάντα συνοδοιπόρος με τη metal μουσική και παρέα με αντίστοιχα ακούσματα, κάναμε κάποια ακούσματα, βιώματα.
Μια από τις παραγωγικότερες μπάντες της Θεσσαλονίκης είναι οι Star Gate. Στααθερά βήματα από την αρχή της καριέρας τους (2003) μέχρι σήμερα, με πλήθος κυκλοφοριών και ζωντανό συναυλιακό στίγμα. Αισίως φθάνουν στον έβδομο παρακαλώ δίσκο τους, το ''The Moment of a Lifetime'' το οποίο και θα κυκλοφορήσει σε cd στις 12 Δεκέμβρη από την Steel Gallery Records. Με χαρά υποδεχόμαστε τον αρχικό τραγουδιστή της μπάντας, Δημήτρη Τικτόπουλο ο οποίος κρατούσε το μικρόφωνο στους πρώτους δυο δίσκους.
To 2016, η Arkeyn Steel είχε προβεί στην κυκλοφορία της συλλογής ''The Premonition'' που περιείχε τα άπαντα των Shadowcast, μιας US Progressive Heavy/Power Metal μπάντας (https://www.metalzone.gr/reviews/shadowcast-premonition). Κάτι αντίστοιχο έκανε και για τους Wrathskeller (https://www.metalzone.gr/reviews/wrathskeller-eve-end).
Πως περνούν έτσι τα χρόνια; Μου φαίνεται μόλις σαν χθες όταν πρωτοάκουσα το ντεμπούτο των Forbidden Seed πριν 10 χρόνια. Η μπάντα του Κωνσταντίνου Μαρή είχε πάντοτε στόχους και τις αντίστοιχες ικανότητες αλλά δίσκο με δίσκο τα πράγματα βελτιώνονται σε όλους τους τομείς και έτσι πρέπει να συμβαίνει σε κάθε μπάντα. Φθάνοντας στο ''In Shadows Deep – Shadow of the Crow Pt.
Αρχές 80ς γεννήθηκε μια ιδιαίτερη μπάντα που ήταν να γίνει μεγάλη. Οι Flotsam And Jetsam. Πρώτο μουσικό πόνημα το ‘’Doomsday for the Deceiver’’. Χαμός στο ίσιωμα. Δισκάρα!!! Εδώ το μονιουμέντο της δισκάρας.

Overkill frontman Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth recently spoke with Finland's Chaoszine about his journey as a metal vocalist.
For over three and a half decades Overkill‘s bottom line crazy method of thrash has produced some of the most significant moments in the world of metal. Now in the latter half of their career, the New Jersey thrash metal veterans show all their experience with “Scorched” sounding more mature, refined, and embellished with hints of more than just thrash metal.
Former Accept bassist Peter Baltes opened up about his departure from the German metal legends in 2018 in an interview with Dr. Music citing unhappiness and finding out he was a hired gun when Accept reformed in 2009.
Baltes: “I was extremely unhappy and I found out a few things. I had been with the band forever and I found in the end, in this incarnation of the band, I wasn’t even a member, but a hired gun.

Την Κυριακή 13/4 το βράδυ, όλοι οι (μεταλλικοί) δρόμοι οδηγούσαν στον Κορυδαλλό. Και αυτό γιατί μια απο τις ιστορικότερες ελληνικές μπάντες, οι Reflection, έκλεισαν ραντεβού με τους εκπροσώπους του Τύπου αλλά και τους οπαδούς τους στο Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο του Δήμου Κορυδαλλού, για την παρουσίαση-προακρόαση του νέου τους δίσκου με τίτλο The Battles I Have Won.
