Dunghill - To The Core

\r\nI admit that Dunghill confused me a little and this happened because even themselves are somehow tangled. With a first listening it seems that we have to make with a band, which does not take and a lot in serious and wants to have fun. After some listenings, it appears that on one hand this exists, but on the other hand they have also various beautiful elements in their music in which they do not hesitate to experiment. It is a band that presents us a mix of Heavy Rock, Alternative Rock/Metal, while there are not absent enough Hardcore influences. The album has duration of more 60 minutes and there are appreciable but also unnoticed tracks. All are constituted from heavy riffs which most times are rhythmical and all are melodic. Some of them in deed they could be also characterized as catchy, because they are very easy in the listening and remain stuck in our brain from the beginning. Vocals exhale a "vagabondage" but I cannot say that I received it with joy. The production is satisfactory but of course has enough steps for improvementl. The album is not something unique, but is not also something completely incurious. Dunghill is a pleasant band which can make us pass well but that’s all. For what they make, they do it great. \r\n
