Spite Extreme Wing - VLTRA

Spite Extreme Wing - VLTRA

Spite Extreme Wing is an Italian black metal band from Liguria of Genoa, and with this album “VLTRA” they are trying to explore the various kind of rock music in general.
\r\nSo, how would a black metal group with 70s influences sound to you? Specifically, they use blast beats which they interrupt with spacey transitions, using mellotron and Roland keyboards from 70s models.
\r\nIndeed, while I was reading the info leaflet of the promo release I felt a great urge to listen to this listen along with a great amount of curiosity, but later I realised that the main compositor of SEW is the vocalist, Argento (not Dario), a guy that is the main compositor and vocalist of the Italian band Ianva,a band that plays Italian tangos and some other music that reminds me of WWII era Italian music. So considering the contribution of this artist  I was prepared for this kind of controversial piece of music and he didn’t let me down.
\r\n“VLTRA” is about a unique album, from black metal to more psychedelic passages and it contains some punkish elements too. Moreover I need to quote that the album contains Misfit and Beatles cover songs… I really don’t know about you, but this release left me really impressed.
