Οι Τεξανοί Helstar ανήκουν στις αγαπημένες μπάντες οπαδών που λατρεύουν τον Αμερικανικο Power Metal ήχο. Ένα καταπληκτικό σερί τεσσάρων θεικών δίσκων στα 80ς τους χάρισε την αιωνιότητα όσο αφορά μια περίοπτη θέση στη σκηνή. Οι Helstar ξεκίνησαν το μακρινό 1981 και γρήγορα απέκτησαν το δικό τους υλικό, από τα σκληρότερα της σκηνής. Τα demos στένονται σε εταιρίες και βρίσκονται αρκετές που εψιαφέρονται και όντως κυκλοφορούν το ντεμπούτο τους ‘’ Burning Star’’ σε όλα τα σημεία της Γης (Combat Records, Music for Nations, Roadrunner Records).
