QUEENSRŸCHE singer Todd La Torre spoke to Canada's The Metal Voice about the progress of the songwriting sessions for the band's follow-up to 2019's "The Verdict" album.
He said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "We have all the songs that we're gonna be recording. We're gonna press record at the very beginning of January."
On November 26, the newest addition to the Hypocrisy catalog, Worship, was released via Nuclear Blast Records. That evening, the band presented their fans with a special listening session that featured a video of vinyl being sent up to the stratosphere.
The journey was completed on a bespoke launch vehicle that carried and supported the record through the atmosphere.

Athenian metal band Daylight Misery, inspired from the loss of their dear friend Dimitris Theodoropoulos (member of the progressive metal band Rex Mundi from Thessaloniki) on May 31, 2021 from cancer, decided to write a song called “Cancerworm”, which is based on his story and everything he has been through over the last years of his life.

TESTAMENT, EXODUS and DEATH ANGEL played the sole 2021 date of "The Bay Strikes Back Tour" last night (Saturday, November 27) at the Fox Theater in Oakland, California. Fan-filmed video footage of the concert can be seen below.
