Former Black Sabbath singer Tony Martin has confirmed January 14th, 2022 as the street date for his new album, Thorns. The album is licensed in all of North and South America by Dark Star Records.

Three years since their latest album, Purgatorio, Gothenburg metal force Manimal has announced to return with a brand new studio record this fall. Armageddon is slated for a release on October 8th via AFM Records.
Despite the band‘s loyalty to traditional heavy metal influences, Purgatorio was a prime example of modern and trend-setting power metal characterised by musical enthusiasm, exceptional talent and new ideas.
Stratovarius frontman Timo Kotipelto has checked in with a new update following months of silence:
"I had a visitor in my studio. Jens (Johansson / keyboards), Matias (Kupiainen / guitars) and I have been working on the new Stratovarius album. I have to admit that the songs sound great. Already now. I still need to work a bit on the lyrics and then of course record all the tracks. It will be a busy next few months. I can’t wait when the album is out. Sometime next year. Rock the album!"
"It Will Last" project comes to life at the end of 2018 on the initiative of Simone Carnaghi, multi-instrumentalist (bass / guitar / drums), composer, as well as teacher of bass, drums, guitar and ensemble music with many years of experience.
The name of the project "It Will Last" is inspired by a song contained in a previous cd-album of unreleased songs entitled "Slender Hopes" (published in 2010) in which Simone Carnaghi composed all the songs (music and lyrics) and played all the instruments

Cynic are sharing a touching tribute to late bassist Sean Malone, who died on December 7, 2020.
To commemorate Malone's legacy, the band have released a never-before-heard recorded performance of the song "Integral", in which Malone performs fretless bass.
"Integral" was originally released as a solo guitar and vocal track on Cynic's Re-Traced EP.
