Maybe you should start planning your escape from this one. Revengine is a Finnish band and their EP “Plan your escape” is their first official release. The band formed back in 2007 and since then they had released 2 self –financed promo CD’s. Their style could be easily labeled as New Rock but then again, they have so many sludge/stoner elements that I think that the term Stoner Rock would suit them fine.
“Shovel Headed Tour Machine” is the title of the new double DVD plus audio CD box of the legendary Exodus and features their live appearance on Wacken Festival in 2008, in front of 80.000 people.
Overkill is one of the oldest thrash metal outfitls with regular releases from 1984 till today but their most fascinating feature in my opinion is that the band despite the amount of their releases never let their fans down.

\r\nTHE RETURN OF ORTAGOS \r\n \r\n
\r\nFrench Black Metal band, -Otargos- are back with their third official album. The band has returned two years after their last album with a new killer album full of Black Metal blasphemy and a big dose of -Otargos- anger. \r\n
Dotma (a.k.a. Dragons Of The Middle Age) is another female fronted gothic metal band with all the cliché of the genre. Heavy riffing, lyrical themes taken from medieval tales, dreamy melodies and symphonic orchestration. Johanna Lesonen’s voice has a unique color as well as dynamics but she doesn’t seem to avoid the comparison with “Nightwish or “Within Temptation”, then again that might not be her purpose.

\r\n-The Few Against Many - is a new band from Sweden that plays Swedish Death Metal with a melodic attitude. The band was formed in 2008 and now they are ready with their first album. \r\n

\r\nSTIGMATA FROM NEW YORK\r\n \r\n
\r\nNew York Hardcore metalheads - Stigmata - are having their 20th anniversary. The band decided to split in 2001 and they only did a couple of shows since 2009 that decided to make a reunion and start doing anniversary shows. -I Scream Records - is releasing two of their old albums. - Hymns for an uknown God 1994 - and - Do unto others 1998 - are now together in one album.\r\n

\r\nDanish band - Inbreeding Rednecks - are here with their first EP. The band formed in 2008 and still searching for a label. They released by themselves their first sample of their work.\r\n
\r\nUsually the first thing that you pay attention to when it comes to a band that you haven’t heard before, is the cover art of their cd; Trees that are dancing around an odd fire in the middle of the night, mountains all around, while crows and elf are watching... marvelous.
\r\nDo you think that the band’s name is a bit emotional? That probably it’s one more band that mourns for the “unreachable” through sad melodies?
\r\nWell, then you should reconsider! If you are wondering if it‘s “heavy”, well, it’s something more than heavy, more than straight in your face and, definitely, more than just good!
