A mix of new metal, progressive and classic metal (in some parts) is being delivered by the French Sonny Red. “Extent of soul” is their debut album and it consists of 11 tracks in an average production and much “Fuzz” I would say. By the word “fuzz” I mean that there is too much noise for nothing. Their music is a bit tiring since they are playing too many things and finally nothing gets you really interested.
\r\nI wouldn’t believe that there is any fan of death metal scene who hasn’t heard of God Dethroned before.. Renewed as far as it concerns the new members of the band, they’re giving us a powerful comeback with their new album ’’Passiondale’’. Of course they know how to not let us down with their new effort since, they already know the way to compose a good melodic death metal album.. To be more specific..

\r\nI am glad that I can\r\nfinally listen to good music made by bands in my hometown. It is not\r\nthe orientation though, here we have got to do with really good stuff\r\nfrom a band that exists since 2006.
\r\nThis is the fourth album that Burning Point release, leaving out a single they had released in 2004. Their line up has had it’s ups and downs over the years, especially after their head on collision with their first Record label (Limb Music) which eventually ended up in court and resulted in the loss of their record deal.
\r\nAnother female fronted symphonic metal album? You are close but…. You see Lunatica are trying for commercial success and that is more than obvious here.
\r\nWhen I was given this album for a review, I was stunt. The well known from his participation in Victory and Accept, Herman Frank, decided to team up with 3 more well known and talented musicians and create this masterpiece. Let me start with a brief introduction of the makers of the album: the guitarist, Herman Frank, played for Accept from the release of “Restless and Wild” until the release of “Balls to the Wall”, and then passed on to Victory, where he remains until now.
\r\nI am truly starting to believe that Cruz Del Sur records is labeling everybody under the trash genre. What can I say…? It must be a disease. Crescent Shield is an American power metal band. They have nothing to do with thrash or progressive metal as you can read at their MySpace.
\r\nCrown the lost statement is that they play thrash metal. Well that’s not exactly the case here. Somebody will call them progressive thrash. That could be better. However there is definitely a nevermore meets As I lay Dying feeling in their music. I don’t call this thrash. it’s speed up certainly, and ok they start from the roots from thrash metal but they are of course. Too much happening at the same time dooms this album to failure. You do have to focus hard to keep up with all that is going on. Many riffs around but unfortunately very very predictable.
