\r\nFor many of you this debut from the Germany-based band Dawn Of Destiny will surely be a pleasant surprise. With a woman by the name Tanja Maul being in the front line Dawn Of Destiny’s music can be described as symphonic power metal in the vein of Nightwish and Operatika or Edenbridge but what separates them from the ones mentioned is the fact that Dawn Of Destiny can get faster, harder and even more aggressive.
\r\nIt has become a usual habit for Blind Guardian to release singles or EPs with each new album. This time it’s "Another Stranger Me", a five-track effort with the title track, a brand new song by the title, ’All The Kings Horse’, an unexpected cover version on The Mamas And the Papas’ ’Dream A Little Dream Of Me’ and two demo-versions of the songs ’Lionheart’ and ’The Edge’.

Buzztown is a Belgium located record company that specified in punk & rock n roll groups. This specific release is nothing more than a split Cd with four groups, or better a Sampler of Buzztown’s strongest groups.
\r\nThe Fist band that came up was the Swedish Chuck Norris Experiment with two original compositions and a cover song to Undertones’ “Teenage Kicks”. Nice music with influences by Hellacopters and Gluecifer. I admit that I liked them a lot.
The Belgian Band From Beyond, in fact consists of two members, ex members of The Black metal act Moribund. This is the first full-length release (All Thrash Breaks Loose) and the band provides us with some thrash metal from the glorious past. Their influences are the German thrash scene and acts like Kreator and some influences by Messiah (RIP). Many melodic parts, riffs and solos inspired by the Kreator and Messiah way of thrashing. The Vocals are similar to Mille Petrozza’s one.
The Greek virtuoso guitar player Mike Dimareli, returns with the second release of his band, Mike Dimareli Article, and this time with an All – star line up, Bob Katsionis (Firewind and many more) on the Keys and Bill Aksiotis (Phantom Lord) on Vocals. The Line up filling up Thomas Tserkezo on the Bass guitar and Tuomo Dimareli on the Drums
\r\nThere hasn’t been a very long time since the singer and soul of The Gathering, Anneke Van Giersbergen decided to withdraw from the band. The disappointment was big but the sentiments were mixed since a few days after her retirement, everyone knew that she would continue to exist in the musical fields via her personal band by the name Agua De Annique.
\r\nLately we’ve come to see many appreciable releases from the melodic Death Metal genre. Personally the most recent I remember it was the new album of Fall Of Serenity and a few days after this, there is another band that reminds me quite enough of this particular group, yet with its own more personal character and accomplishes to gain a special place in our heart. \r\n
I first met the music of The Equinox Ov The Gods back in 1996 when they released their first CD/LP (Images Of The Forgotten Memories) through the Greek label, Unisound.
