\r\nHate Squad celebrate their 15 years of existence with the album Deguello Wartunes, which is not some kind of collection, but is their new album. Personally I could not never take seriously the Germans, firstly because their name does not make me any sense and secondly, because in the 4 previous albums that they have released, the only that we hear is riffs that are being played on and on and they do not have something to offer to us.

Ekotren were formed in 2000 in Florida and Light The Fire is their new album. In order to be sincere i was ignoring their existence but i am not the biggest fan of Metalcore. Light The Fire therefore, is a modern album that apart from his Metalcore roots has also a lot of elements from that called Alternative Metal while some influences from Nu Metal don’t missing. Typical stuff. What I liked in this band is the amazing sound which is characterized by the volume and the distinct instruments in the songs.

\r\nMalodorous is a band that features typical slam death metal with all the grooves, heavy breakdowns and spastic blasts, and of course the extremely low, guttural vocals. At times the sound gains a really abysmal noise with heavy, thick yet simple and downtuned tremolo riffs, a drum machine that occasionally is set on ultra fast, distorted bass, and completely indecipherable ultra-low growls. This is such a one dimensional music with a primitive brutality that’s genuinely menacing and the songs are mostly midpaced and groovy with a really muddy sound.

The case of Sideblast could be the example of when a band has potential there aren’t any excuses like "ok, it’s their first album so don’t expect much". The French managed to create an amazing debut album which gives you the impression it has been written by a band that has been around the music industry for years and really knows how to compose songs and how to give out energy and rage through their compositions. The music we listen to here is between Death Metal and Grindcore, while the group’s main influences are Strapping Young Lad, Gojira and Behemoth.

As always, Edenbridge continue the tradition and present another indifferent and uninspired album which can easily be compared to the previous one as there is no difference that would make the result a bit more interesting. So, Earth Dream is the group’s new album and in it we listen to some of the most boring symphonic tracks we’ve ever heard.

\r\nMalpractice comes from Finland and were created in 1994. Despite the fact that they exist so many years, the truth is that they have not been heard a lot and this is something that causes impression that is one appreciable band, which has many things to offer, at least in those who deal with Progressive genre.

\r\nBaskíria was born in 1999 in Budapest, Hungary by two former members of a grind core band, called Crucifixation. After many lineup changes and two demos they managed to release in 2008 their first full length album "Onogur". The band plays vicious, yet melodic black metal with plenty of faster, blast beat laden sections mixed in with mid-paced and slower melodic pieces and harsh and deep vocals. The music is really aggressive at times mostly due to the slight grindcore-like drumming.

\r\n Titanic are not new in the Metal music scene. They exist already from 1995, nevertheless they have not released many records. More concretely, they measure 3 albums until now (including the "Full Steam Ahead") and a collection. \r\n

\r\nThis album confused me a bit. In general, even though there are some parts that I liked, on the other hand, quite often the whole thing was tiring as it seems that something doesn’t’ fit that much. Music wise, the band combines death metal with grind, but the main feature is that the words/lyrics are in Spanish, an element that gives a pretty strange result, concerning its combination with that musical style. The production is very good, yet the guitar parts should sound a bit louder in my opinion.

\r\nHere we have a one man’ s Band, which is named Mooncult and it is constituted by LycaonDemo is the first effort of Lycaon to be heard also into the chaos that is named Black Metal and more specific, searches to find his route in Greek Black Metal scene, with a Demo that personally I believe that it needs big improvement both in the field of production and compositions. It is 5 tracks (the one is intro), which appear that desperately they search to find their identity and to be heard unique and particular.
