\r\nThe “resurrection” of Glam scene goes on with one more album release from Perris Records. GASOLINE is the latest album from DIRTY LOOKS which is on the market since last year already. It worth paying attention to Henrik Ostergaard, who seems to enjoy the whole thing a lot, and the 10 tracks plus 2 bonuses of the promo that we received is the best proof for that.
\r\nThe first full-length release from the Italians “Thirteen Nerve” entitled “Needless” is a fine hard-core release with some metal core elements and psychedelic passages.
\r\nAlthough at some age I used to be a huge fan of Mayhem I admit that I didn’t have any particular anticipation for their latest release. Greatly disappointed from their previous releases, the boring "Grand Declaration of War" and the uninspired "Chimera" the only thing that triggered my interest for Mayhem’s new release was nothing more than Attila Csihar’s return to the band.
CATARACT’s previous album Kingdom, left me with mixed emotions. There were songs I liked much but also others that left me indifferent. Given this background I was really skeptic when I placed their new release in my cd player. To my surprise I was utterly disillusioned. Even from the first track it is obvious this band has grown from their previous release and they are now more mature and well bonded. Cataract is an album of well performed Metalcore with elements and influences from other genres and especially Death Metal.
\r\nEven though it seems SAVATAGE are dead Jon Oliva is still here to write and offer the fans\r\nquality, beautiful songs.\r\nThe “ecologic” Global Warning is the third studio album for Jon Oliva’s Pain and to be honest, I\r\nenjoyed it much more than the previous two.
\r\nHeadhunter are a band with a history which many old fans might remember. It’s the project of our dear Schmier of Destruction among with Jorg Michael (Stratovatius) and Schmuddel (ex-Talon). After years in silence Headhunter are back with a new album called Parasite Of Society. Its comeback no heavy thrash fan can miss. In this alum the band has managed to combine in a very smart way Heavy Metal with thrash elements while having a hard rock attitude.
\r\nThis is the second full-length album by Swedish death metallers Facebreaker and with a few words this is nothing more than old school Swedish fucking death metal but with a more modern production. The songs are mostly from speedy thrash driven to mid-tempo and of course killer sluggish groovy parts in the Grave-like tradition. The guitars are downtuned yet razor sharp dominating the entire 11-track output. Short in their duration they manage to keep a certain variation with lots of well measured tempo changes.
The first EP by the Greeks Aenaon is an astonishing effort for sure in the Black / Death Metal scene indeed.
\r\nThis is about an EP that features six compositions, which in musical way move between the early Emperor, Naglfar and recent Behemoth styles of music. A huge amount of blast beat with some melodic passages that can be described as a Death Black Metal Holocaust.
\r\nIn This EP you’re about to hear Death Metal riffage, with many black metal blast beating hammerings.
\r\nAfter 10 years of absence, German Incubator returns with new album, new company and new sound. The band has already released 4 completed albums and we could say that it is one of the older groups from German Death Metal of scene. LieBISSlieder is their fifth album, which I do not know how much it will appeal to those who dealt with the band those years, but sure it will fascinate their new fans, but also those who most of all like experimental Death Metal sounds.
\r\nDevil Sold His Soul is a band from Britain and this time it circulates their debut album which is named A Fragile Hope. The same moment however, we find in the market a re-release of what we have here, the EP which brings the title Darkness Prevails and is the first work that the band had ever done with the difference that now it comes with some bonus material.
