\r\nThat’s the fourth full length album for the band of Liv Kristene Espenaes Krull (Theatre Of Tragedy) and her husband’s Alex Krull (Atrocity).

\r\nCombining elements from various music fields is really exciting sometimes. Dominanz is the successor of the project Cult of Deception, which was formed in 2006. As I shine is the title of their debut album, following the release of the single The end of all there is (2010), which also contained the song Infinity.\r\n

\r\n

\r\nTheir music is very modern; their style is a mixture of elements coming from bands such as Rammstein, Deathstars, Gothminister, Agathodaimon. They combine industrial, black, death, as well as 00’s electro elements.

\r\nUsually, when it comes to a demo album most of us presume that the sound quality will be awful; this is true most of the times, indeed.

\r\nBeing a progressive metal with an old school metal attitude is kinda odd; yet, that’s exactly what the music of the British band Hunted is all about; there are several rhythmical styles and music themes changing all the time, and their music has many technical parts as well, yet overall it’s old school. \r\n

\r\n

\r\nThe compositions are based on a strange mixture of influences and ideas, which are not combined that well with each other.

Furor Gallico is a very promising act! After listening to their self titled debut album I ended up concluding that music knows neither boundaries nor nationality. But let me explain the reason that triggered that thought. By listening to the album with the impressive celtic melodies emerging from a death metal background I thought that this is about another English or Scandinavian band. So imagine my surprise when I found out that Furor Gallico are Italians and they play “Pagan Metal” at its best!

\r\nYet another Powerwolf album meant to fulfill the need for powerful heavy metal riffs, endeavoring lyrics, turbulence guitars and eerie vocals. You can’t miss with a recipe like this. That’s mainly the reason why Powerwolf have become one of the most promising bands around ever since they surfaced the metal scene back in 2003. With every new release they become better more bounded, more solid and their sound is always exhilarating.

\r\n Ι’ve known Razor’s Edge’s music for some time now and I’m very pleased to see a change in their musical point of view. Dimitri’s addition to the band’s vocal position helped a lot. The act comes forth with fresh material and the will to show the world a new face. If and what they succeeded is a subjective matter. Groovy thrashcore with brutality shots? Call it what you will.

It’s been a long time since i last heard  classical black metal music as good as the first e.p. of Ogen. The title of the first work of these italians  is ’Black Metal Unbound’ and  although their name didn’t seem particularly special, the music was very satisfying and i find myself not being able to wait for their next and, surely, more evolved work.

\r\nOhhh, these youngsters..let’s make it fast this time cuz time and space are valuable things. Terakai are a modern band, the type that combine screamo elements with those weepy choruses. You know, the generation that grew up in front of youtube, with ipods decorating their ears, etc. The relative image is a must and these dudes are no exception.
